Effective August 6, 2026
Speech Expedition is operated by Patrick Franklin Pike, a sole proprietor based in California. These terms are the agreement between you and me when you use speechexpedition.com or anything on it. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
Speech Expedition is a browser-based collection of speech and language therapy activities: story-driven language missions and articulation games, built for speech-language pathologists, educators, and parents working with children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
It is a therapy material, not a therapy service. Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It doesn't replace the professional judgment of a licensed clinician, and it isn't a substitute for evaluation or care.
You need to be at least 18 to buy a membership or create any account. Children use Speech Expedition under the supervision of an adult — an SLP, teacher, or parent — and don't sign up for anything themselves.
Membership gives you access to all language missions and all articulation activities, including ones released later, for as long as your membership is active.
Founding membership is $8.99 per month or $89 per year. Founding members keep that rate for as long as their membership stays continuously active. The founding rate is limited to the first 100 members; after that, membership is $14.99 per month or $149 per year.
Membership renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and your access continues through the end of the billing period you've already paid for. I don't offer partial refunds for unused time in a billing period.
If your membership lapses — you cancel, or a payment fails and isn't resolved — the founding rate no longer applies if you sign up again later.
Prices for new members may change. Founding members are covered by the rate lock described above.
Individual missions sold through Teachers Pay Teachers are one-time purchases that don't expire. Those sales are handled by TPT, and TPT's own terms and refund policy apply to them, not these terms.
A mission you buy comes with an access code. That code is licensed to you for use with your own students. Please don't share, publish, resell, or distribute it. Codes can't be rotated without breaking access for everyone who has one, so a shared code is a real problem rather than a technicality.
Everything on Speech Expedition — the artwork, writing, voice recordings, games, and code — belongs to me and is protected by copyright.
You may use it with the students you work with, display it in sessions in person or over teletherapy, and print any materials that are offered as printable.
You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or republish it; upload it anywhere else; strip out the artwork or audio for other uses; or share your login or access codes outside your own caseload.
If you're at a school or district and want multiple staff to have access, get in touch and we'll work something out.
I'm one person building this. I'll do my best to keep the site running and to fix problems quickly, but I can't promise it will be available at all times or free of bugs. Features may change, and missions or activities may be added, altered, or retired.
Speech Expedition is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, and my total liability is limited to what you paid me in the twelve months before the claim.
I can suspend or end access for anyone who shares access codes, redistributes content, or otherwise breaks these terms.
I may update these terms. If a change is significant, I'll say so on the site and, if you're a member, by email. Continuing to use Speech Expedition after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules.
